Kodak E100G 4×5″

Wednesday, September 28th, 2011

I processed some E100G sheets today, I ruined a few with excessive graduated filters. Lesson learnt.

I like this film.

Shooting in the Dunes

Went and took a few shots in the sand dunes with Kat this afternoon. Mostly on large format, but here are a couple on tiny format :p

More 4×5″ Velvia 50

Tuesday, September 20th, 2011

Here are some more shots (I will periodically increase the shots in this post so only one to start) with Velvia 50 on the Ebony 45s using a Nikkor 75-SW lens (and a shit tonne of filters).

As scanned, just resized for web. Enjoy my tripod legs (and even part of a shoe) in one of the shots.

Here are some shots from my old M6 and 35mm Summarit, taken quite a while ago. These are on Ilford FP4.

Handheld 3D Infrared

Saturday, September 10th, 2011

Not a very common thing so I thought I’d try it, go cross-eyed until the image overlaps and it should be 3D. Shot handheld, 1/30s at f/1.4 with the Leica 50mm Summilux-M ASPH on the Leica M9. I used a Hoya R72 filter to filter out most of the visible light.

Kodak Ektar 100 and Portra 400

Wednesday, September 7th, 2011

I developed some 4×5″ Ektar 100 and Portra 400. My first time developing C41. It went alright. I look forward to wet mounting and scanning at higher res.

This lens is from the 70′s. I scored a great deal on one in Leica Thread Mount which is easily adapted to Leica M.

I’ll take some real shots with it over the weekend. These six are wide open.
