Erskine Falls

Wednesday, May 22nd, 2013

I totally forgot I had shot this waterfall, but good thing I found the shots again :)

Alpa SWA, P45, Schneider 35mm XL. 2 shots shifted and stitched.

WA Seafront with the Alpa

Saturday, May 11th, 2013

Took a couple of snaps with the Alpa before getting myself and the camera soaked. It went alright, but it’s a shame about the boring sunset.

Hopetoun Falls

Sunday, May 5th, 2013

Alpa 12 SWA 35 Schneider APO-Digitar XL. I’ve included the image without the lens colour cast corrected just for interest sake.
I’ve also added a more neutral edit which I think I prefer. Lastly, I’ve just added a 100% crop.

Leica M (typ 240)

Saturday, April 6th, 2013

Some shots from the new Leica M, just having a lazy stroll about near the office.

Organ Pipes National Park

Sunday, February 17th, 2013

I shot some film here as well, but these are on the Leica M9P with the 21/3.4 Super-Elmar-M.

Wet Mounting

Monday, February 11th, 2013

I tried my hand at wet mounting today and aside from a tonne of annoying little bubbles it went well. I think I get a little extra sharpness and a lot less dust.

This is a 4×5″ cropped to 2×5″

Xmas 2012

Here are some snaps from Xmas 2012

Playing with the Leica S2

Sunday, December 9th, 2012

Work let me borrow a very fancy camera, the Leica S2.

I took it for a stroll and took some snaps in the evening.

Some more large format film

Sunday, December 2nd, 2012

Here are a few shots, some with my new Razzle (the ones with very shallow DOF) and the others with the Ebony.

I’m sure I’ll post way too many shots of my rapidly changing view…
