A few snaps from today, M9 + 50mm summilux ASPH and IR filter.

This past weekends metal gigs

Monday, December 26, 2011

A few shots taken at metal gigs over the weekend. I had tremendous amounts of ale so forgive the rubbishness of them.

Some 21mm f/3.4 Super-Elmar-M ASPH shots

Tuesday, December 13, 2011

Got my new Leica lens, gave it a quick bash at the coast, sorry I didn’t have my filters (can’t find my 46mm adapter for my grad holder) so they are blended. I will hopefully get a chance to take some more inspiring shots soon :)

More Kodak Ektar 100 and Portra 400

Sunday, October 23, 2011

Developed and scanned some more film today, some weird colour shifts going on, with the shot in the sand dunes it was pushed 2 stops (I forgot to compensate for the polariser when I shot it) and the others with crazy colours were really long exposures. At least the portraits came out nicely, except the one with the accordian player who moved out of the plane of focus just as I took the shot :(

Larissa

Monday, October 17, 2011

I did a photo shoot with Larissa Barnett recently. All makeup is by Christy Blanchard :)

Velvia 100 Velvia 50 and Provia 100F 4×5″

Sunday, October 9, 2011

Developed some Fuji Velvia 100, a nice film, easy to overexpose though, similarly to Velvia 50. Thankfully no real reciprocity failure.

It has great saturation and sharpness. I think there was some colour shift due to accidentally bumping the thermostat knob and having the temperatures around 41C.

Waterspout!

Wednesday, October 5, 2011

I love these little rocky overhangs which make waterfalls at the coast when the tide is just right.

I also hate them because when a big wave comes my shorts and the camera are often soaked :(

This one with the venerable M9.

Kodak E100G 4×5″

Wednesday, September 28, 2011

I processed some E100G sheets today, I ruined a few with excessive graduated filters. Lesson learnt.

I like this film.

Shooting in the Dunes

Sunday, September 25, 2011

Went and took a few shots in the sand dunes with Kat this afternoon. Mostly on large format, but here are a couple on tiny format :p

More 4×5″ Velvia 50

Tuesday, September 20, 2011

Here are some more shots (I will periodically increase the shots in this post so only one to start) with Velvia 50 on the Ebony 45s using a Nikkor 75-SW lens (and a shit tonne of filters).

As scanned, just resized for web. Enjoy my tripod legs (and even part of a shoe) in one of the shots.
